Accounting Analyst - RTR

Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a strong Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting Records to Report (RTR) team in Wichita, KS.

A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation.

The individual should have a solid understanding of accounting concepts, good critical and economic thinking, and strong communication skills.

This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

What You Will Do



* Own monthly accounting processes


* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting


* Identify and implement innovation or improvement opportunities


* Assist in implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and processes


* Help maintain and improve internal controls, reporting processes, and audit readiness activities


* Support the accounting impacts of mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, restructurings, and other legal entity transactions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* General Ledger knowledge and previous experience booking journal entries, accruals, and analyzing trial balances


* Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting


* Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses


* Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tools


* Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills


* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

What Will Put You Ahead



* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


* Experience working with multinational legal entities and cross-border transactions.


* Knowledge of foreign currency accounting, legal entity reporting, and statutory compliance requirements.


* Experience using OneStream, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytic and visualization tools


* Experience with accounting consolidation including intercompany eliminations and consolidating international entities with foreign currencies


* Experience in process innovation/transformation/implementation
