Ben Bridge Jeweler is seeking a Shipping Assistant to join our team in the Distribution Department.

Job Description Summary:

The Shipping Assistant receives incoming and processes out going packages as well as driving the company vehicle to a number of locations for deliveries and pick ups.

This is a fast-paced position.  This role interacts with stores, vendors, executives and the distribution and facilities teams daily.

 Responsibilities Include:


* Perform all shipping duties- scanning, packing, and insuring accurate documentation for outbound shipments



* Drives the company vehicle to multiple store locations and post office for pickups and drop offs


* Unpacks, documents and accurately sorts inbound packages


* Researches issues related to receiving


* Works closely with a team that adheres to strict deadlines


* Assists facilities team when needed


* Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):


* A valid Washington State driver’s license and excellent driving record are required


* Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs


* Ability to maintain composure and flexibility while under pressure


* Accuracy and attention to detail a must


* Positive attitude and customer service approach


* Ability to prioritize shipments


* Excellent organizational skills

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


* High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

WORKING CONDITIONS:


* Must be able to bend, stoop and twist


* Ability to lift up to 50lbs


* Onsite Monday through Friday

Range: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges.

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
