Job Purpose

This experienced steering design engineer will be responsible for designing steering parts and systems that meet targeted schedules and deliver outstanding performance, quality, reliability, value, and enjoyment to Honda’s customers.

Key Accountabilities

Achieve Performance, Quality, Cost and Delivery Targets by:
o Confirm supplier part/assembly designs and/or model parts and systems on own in 3D and release 2D drawings and specifications using CATIA & MS office.

Part and assembly designs will consist of castings, forgings, stampings, rubber bushings, dampers, coil and torsion springs, fasteners, etc.
o Thinking critically & applying fundamental engineering principles to complex targets.
