Position Summary The Financial Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for providing advanced member service, financial guidance, lending support, and relationship-building activities.

This role serves as a trusted resource for members by delivering personalized financial solutions, financial education, and consultative service that supports members' financial goals.

The FSR performs a broad range of member service functions, including processing routine and complex transactions, cash handling and balancing activities, opening and servicing consumer and business accounts, processing specialty accounts, originating consumer loans, assisting with mortgage and business loan inquiries, and supporting branch growth through the credit union's "sales as a service" philosophy by identifying member needs and providing appropriate financial solutions.

This position requires strong operational knowledge, compliance awareness, fraud prevention expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences.

Key Responsibilities Member Service and Relationship Management Deliver exceptional member service through consultative conversations and relationship building.

Open, maintain, and service consumer, business, and specialty accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Perform account maintenance, transaction processing, and problem resolution with accuracy and professionalism.

Assist members with digital banking services and electronic account access.

Support members through complex or sensitive situations, including estate accounts, death claims, and escalated account concerns.

Process member transactions, cash deposits, withdrawals, payments, and negotiable instruments accurately and efficiently while balancing cash drawers in accordance with established procedures.

Lending, Sales, and Financial Education Originate and process consumer loan applications in compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.

Assist members with mortgage and business lending inquiries and facilitate referrals when appropriate.
