Real Estate Sales Support Specialist

As a Real Estate Sales Support Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for members, potential members, and internal business units seeking information about our real estate lending products and services.

This role provides knowledgeable assistance over the phone, ensuring smooth processes and supports the real estate lending team in delivering an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities:


* Answer inbound calls to the Real Estate Call Center and direct the members to the proper resources, including channels, Real Estate Loan Originators, or Real Estate Servicing team.


* Engage and coordinate the assistance of employees from other departments in providing prompt resolution to the members inquiries.


* Answer high level mortgage-related questions about rates, products, application channels, etc.


* Continuously work to improve real estate processes by using creativity, innovation, and collaboration.


* Assist the department with ordering services, monitoring mortgage inbox, sending disclosures, help the servicing team, as needed, when not assisting with member phone calls.

Qualifications:


* High school diploma (or equivalent) required.


* 1+ year of similar or related experience is required.


* Previous call center, sales support, banking, or mortgage lending environment experience preferred.


* Excellent telephone skills, computer / keyboard skills.


* Self-starter, capable of working with general instructions and minimal supervision.


* Good math skills.


* Effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent organizational skills.


* Must be able to multi-task and solve problems.


* Marketing skills and be able to cross-sell products and services to our members.

Availability:


* This position is 40- hours a week, Monday through Friday.


* Staffed hours are 8:00 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m.

* Will require some flexibility within these hours, as needed.

Work Environment:


* The Real Estate Sales Support Specialist position is located at Altra’s Operations Center in Onalaska, WI


* However, work from home / remote opportunities can be considered for those candidates who live within Altra’s approved remote states: CO, FL, GA, IA, MI, MN, NJ, NC, TN, TX, and WI.

Pay and Benefits:

* When bilingual in Spanish or Hmong, receive a $1.00 per hour pay premium after completing and passing the language exam.
