Quality Assurance Analyst (Multiple Openings)

Job Description:

Perform quality assurance duties and provide testing expertise, guidance and oversight.

Drive test strategy conversations and define individual test cases, integrated end-to-end testing scenarios and validation criteria.

Analyze user stories and technical requirements for validity and technical soundness.

Ensure system and software quality by writing, maintaining, running, and analyzing the family of tests (e.g.

unit, functional, integrated, regression, automated, exploratory, and performance).

Analyze and synthesize actual results compared to expected results, troubleshoot and assist in the diagnosis of unintended results, and log errors to investigate cause.

Communicate test results to stakeholders.

Support user acceptance testing as needed.

Work with less experienced QA analysts to provide technical guidance and oversight.

Troubleshoot problems and assist in getting problems appropriately prioritized, assigned, fixed, tested, and closed.

Remain up to date on new testing technologies and best practices and share insights with others in the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering and two years of experience as a Sr.

Quality Assurance Analyst or substantially similar position.

Alternatively, must have a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering and five years of experience as a Sr.

Quality Assurance Analyst or substantially similar position.

Special Skills Required:

Required experience must include all of the following: Managing the strategy, design, and execution of business process tests and usability evaluations; Providing technical guidance to feature developers or automation engineers to build the tools and infrastructure to ensure production code is thoroughly tested to the highest standards; Providing technical guidance and functional management to less experienced software test engineers; Using software testing tools and processes; Testing frameworks, consumer-facing applications and databases; Utilizing Page Object Model and Git; Integrating with Jenkins and GitHub Actions (GHA); Using regulatory standards testing processes; Creating and maintaining test scripts in an automated testing framework; Utilizing JavaScript programming language; Delivering software products in an engineering and operations environment; Utilizing Agile development lifecycle methodologies; and Utilizing Object Oriented Programming and Scrum. 

Salary: $132,912.00 - $154,800 per year

Work Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM
