Description
This position is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair for all broadcast systems, equipment, facilities and software applications.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
* Perform support and maintenance on the BB/CATV plant.
* Troubleshoot system outages and individual customer issues as needed.
* Provide support to all service techs.
* Maintain company vehicle and keep properly stocked with appropriate supplies and equipment.
* Power supply maintenance and trouble shooting
* Maintain an appropriate and professional image of the company through appearance, demeanor, driving habits, and interactions with customers.
* Follow all safety rules and comply with company policies and specifications.
* Work duties are performed both inside and outside of maintained buildings and property.
You will need to have:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
* 5 years of broadband/CATV experience in telephony, fiber optics, microwave transmission, or related field
* Valid driver’s license
* System forward and return testing and balancing.
* Knowledge and experience working with electronics, electrical, RF, and fiber optic equipment.
* Able to communicate clearly and strong interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and plan accordingly to complete daily assignments.
* Knowledge of and ability to comply with all OSHA, FCC, NEC, and local ordinances.
* Strong working knowledge of computers
Working Conditions:
* Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and all times of day or night.
* This position participates in an on-call schedule.
* Bend, stoop and crawl.
* Lift up to 75 pounds and to lift, position, and carry ladders.
* Climb ladders, towers and/or utility poles and work in high places.

JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Hi-Lo Driver
GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position requires the safe operation of combustion or electrical powered industrial lift trucks (hi-lo) designed to safely lift, stack, load, unload, move and transport various materials, tools, equipment and/or products from one location to another location (also includes loading/unloading onto a trailer). Drivers in Shipping must keep area clean and safe, this includes the Yard for racks stacked at a safe height and put in designated areas. Must complete daily Hi-lo checklist.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Must be able to ascend or descend from the vehicle to adjust the forks, inspect the load to be moved and operate levers or other devices to complete the assigned tasks. Must be able to drive in reverse when vision is blocked.
* Responsible for inspecting the vehicle for proper operating conditions, report deficiencies and operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
* Must pass appropriate physical examination when required. Must satisfactorily pass a written and operating examination. Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License.
* Must understand and be able to read an order sheet (pick sheet).
* Must be able to work in a fast-pace environment.
* Must know and understand FIFO; understand 7-poimt inspection process for C-TPAT
* Knowledge of loading weight onto trailer, including weight distribution, stack ability, organization of parts best suited for transit.
* Knowledge of trailer alignment for wide rack loads; and verify safety chocks are in place and operation of the dock plates.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES / EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1.
Previous Hilo driving experience preferred due to time constraints in meeting production and/or shipment requirements to customer.
2.
(There will be minimal Training on driving Hilo-must have previous experience of driving a Hilo).
3.
General education requirements: H.S.
Diploma (including high school math and reading proficiency).
4.
Must be able to lift, twist, bend, squat, climb, stand and walk continuously in close, confined surroundings, as well as tolerate fumes and noise.
5.
Must be able to work mandatory OT as required 6-7 days per week.
