In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products throughout our manufacturing facility.
The position supports production operations by ensuring materials are delivered efficiently, inventory is handled accurately, and work areas remain organized and safe.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain daily log and assigned checklist of assigned forklift.
• Perform routine driver’s check on fluid levels and general condition of forklift.
• Load/unload or stage materials as needed to assure production flow.
• Operate a forklift in a safe manner.
• Complete material requisitions as required.

Position Overview
This is a skilled position controlling production and load out of materials produced in plants.
The plant operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of plant equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.

* Reads work schedules and determines sequence of operations.
* Operates plant according to production schedule using appropriate materials.
* Monitor material operation to ensure quality of mix.
* Performs basic maintenance and service on plant as required.
* Ability to weld using an arc welder or cutting torch is preferred.
* Cleans control house and yard facility daily.
* Enters production information into computer systems.
