Position Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Technician 1B is responsible for performing quality control testing of aggregates, asphalt, and related construction materials to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and applicable industry requirements.
This position supports production operations by collecting samples, conducting laboratory and field testing, maintaining testing documentation, and communicating quality-related findings to operations personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Collect material samples from plants, stockpiles, job sites, and production facilities.
* Perform laboratory and field testing on aggregates, asphalt mixtures, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable testing procedures and specifications.
* Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
* Monitor product quality and notify supervisors of non-conforming materials or test results.
