Position Overview .
The Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment to support daily asphalt plant production.
This role ensures proper handling of raw materials, maintains stockpile organization, and assists with overall plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a front-end loader to move, load and supply aggregate materials to bins and hoppers.
* Maintain organized and properly managed stockpiles.
* Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies to plant personnel.
* Perform basic equipment checks and routine maintenance (fueling, cleaning, inspections).
* Assist with general plant upkeep and support other production tasks as needed.
* Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures at all times.
* Communicate effectively with plant operators, truck drivers, and other crew members to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
* High school diploma or General Education Degree GED is preferred.
* 2 years of previous related experience in the construction field.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
* Previous knowledge of heavy equipment required.
