Asset Management - Funds - Offshore Internal Client Advisor

As a member of the J.P.

Morgan internal sales team, you will work with closely with a senior territory based sales partner to develop a holistic strategy to cover a territory of financial advisors.

You will service existing clients while also identifying new business opportunities.

As an Internal Client Advisor (ICA ) you will spend the majority of your time on the phone speaking with advisors, cultivating relationships, building partnerships, and sharing ideas that benefit the advisors and their clients.

Responsibilities:

The primary role of the Internal Client Advisor (ICA) is to work with financial advisors to:


* Share insights around financial markets


* Help construct investment portfolios


* Provide specific investment solutions based on client needs


* Successful ICA candidates will not only have a strong understanding of financial markets, but also are able to explain complex financial concepts in simple, repeatable terms.

Qualifications:


* Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)


* 2+ years financial sales experience, experience selling over the phone needed


* Proven track record of success in selling Investment Management and/or Retirement plans and maintaining relationships


* Proven success with multi-tasking and staying on top of priorities


* Ability to learn and demonstrate industry and product knowledge by understanding the competition, the client and marketplace technical expertise


* Capacity to build relationships across entire organization and with our partner firms (strength managing relationships)


* Familiarity with financial markets, market terminology, capital markets history and economic indicators, along with equity, fixed income, international, emerging markets, currency and alternative asset classes.


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Ability to effectively leverage our global resources


* Licensing: Required prior to hiring or obtain: Series 7; Series 63 (or 66)

* Ability to drive sales results


* Focus and desire to increase and retain the firm's assets


* Drive to exceed activity and manage multiple territory priorities


* Ability to tell the \"JPM story\" clearly, concisely, and in a compelling way to create interest by utilizing the JPMorgan seven-step sales process


* Ability to grow, develop and maintain working relationships with advisors


* Proficiency in the use our customer relationship management (CRM) system


* Effectiveness in presenting to financial advisors
