As a Shift Lead at our Academy Family Thrift Store, youll guide a team, create a welcoming space for donors and shoppers, and know that every shift you run helps fund life-changing ministry in our community.

Store Manager)A predictable schedule, Monday through SaturdayStrong benefits: paid time off, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, retirement match, and an annual bonus opportunity RESPONSIBILITIES Warmly greet donors and accept donationsEnsure a positive donor experienceEfficiently process and sort donated itemsEnsure donated items meet FTS standards for quality and suitabilityPrice merchandise items appropriately and prepare for placement on the sales floorProvide excellent customer service to shoppers, offering assistance and maintaining a welcoming atmosphereProvide clear direction and guidance to volunteers on behalf of the FTS DirectorFoster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, cooperation, and commitment to FTS goalsWork on the sales floor, operate the cash register, and ensure adherence to opening and closing proceduresMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including restocking shelves and tidying display areasParticipation by all staff is required at Life Networks major events LEADERSHIP Remains attentive to the many moving pieces of the thrift store at any given time, including the sales floor, donation intake, and processing areasBuilds rapport and strong working relationships with team members and volunteersConducts regular check-ins with staff and volunteers during assigned shiftsMaintains a positive attitude and fosters an encouraging team environmentEscalates issues and concerns through the proper channels to the Thrift Store Manager EXPERIENCE High school graduate1 year of supervisory experience requiredPrevious retail experience highly preferred QUALIFICATIONS Strong advocate for the sanctity of life issuesPossesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional lifeActive commitment to a local churchA passion for the ministry accomplished through Life NetworkDemonstrates qualities of initiative, teamwork, and goal orientationCapable of supervising, leading, and engaging volunteers effectively, fostering a supportive and collaborative environmentEnjoys interaction with the...
