Your Role – Inspire Incredible!

As part of our on-site Finance & Business Support team, you will play an important role in overseeing the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial operations, reporting and internal controls.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance & Business Support, you will work closely with departments across the hotel, IHG shared services and external stakeholders to support financial performance, oversee key accounting processes and provide insights that drive effective commercial decision-making.

Your day to day

As our Senior Accountant, you will:


* Oversee daily revenue reporting and month-end financial close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations.


* Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing, supplier reconciliations and compliance with financial policies.


* Coordinate the fortnightly payroll process, acting as the key liaison between the Cluster Payroll Team and hotel departments to ensure accurate processing and reporting.


* Partner with department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning and labour cost management, analysing financial performance against budget and identifying opportunities for improvement.


* Support internal controls, compliance and internal and external audit requirements in line with IHG standards.
