Production Control Coordinator - Units

POSITION SUMMARY
The Units Production Control Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, processing, and maintaining production job
documentation and system transactions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
This role supports
manufacturing operations by coordinating production-related information within the ERP system, maintaining
inventory integrity, monitoring job status, and facilitating communication between production, engineering, supply
chain, and quality teams.
The position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on
quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and release jobs for production.
• Process production orders through ERP systems to ensure timely material procurement and production
readiness.
• Review job documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Create and maintain department-specific production job packages.
• Maintain accurate and current ERP system data.
• Support inventory accuracy by maintaining perpetual inventory integrity.
• Monitor and update job status throughout the production process.
• Collect and track production control metrics and performance data.
• Partner with production teams to resolve quality issues impacting released jobs.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Enter and maintain quality-related data, including EARs and FPYs, within designated systems.
• Serve as a liaison between Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other functional teams.
• Spend time on the shop floor to understand production processes, material flow, and operational challenges.
• Support broader Supply Chain initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.
• Collaborate with global Supply Chain teams and assist in training team members when appropriate.
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned by leadership
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Business,
Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, production control, inventory management, supply chain, or operations
environment preferred.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and production documentation processes preferred.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities is a plus.(Derived from

Technical Knowledge & Skills
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and production control processes.
