Position Summary The Lead Commercial Roofing Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects while serving as a technical leader within the estimating department.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the estimating process for commercial roofing projects.

Review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.

Perform roofing takeoffs and detailed cost analyses.

Prepare accurate estimates and professional project proposals.

Mentor and support junior estimators.

Develop competitive bid strategies while maintaining profitability goals.

Build and maintain relationships with contractors, owners, consultants, and suppliers.

Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful project handoff.

Track bid opportunities and estimating performance metrics.

Identify value-engineering opportunities and alternative roofing solutions.

Qualifications Required 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.

Proven ability to manage large commercial roofing bids.

Strong knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal roofing, and coatings.

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Experience with estimating and takeoff software.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Valid driver's license.

Preferred Prior experience leading or mentoring estimators.

Experience with The Edge, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or RoofSnap.

Knowledge of local building codes and roofing industry standards.

Established relationships within the commercial construction industry.

Compensation & Benefits $85,000 - $110,000 base salary.
