Mortgage Loan Processor II
Responsible for supporting all phases of the mortgage loan process, including documentation, processing, closing, post-closing, and member communication.
Ensures loan files are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Collaborates with members, third-party vendors, and internal staff to facilitate an efficient loan process while providing professional member service.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Facilitates mortgage loan closing activities by preparing and reviewing closing documentation, validating closing figures, ensuring file accuracy and completeness, coordinating closing requirements, and supporting loan closing and funding processes.Administers mortgage loan funding and boarding functions, including system setup, preparation and disbursement of loan proceeds, payment setup, account maintenance, and verification of funding documentation to ensure accurate and timely loan funding.Reviews, verifies, and processes mortgage loan documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance; coordinates collection of required information, clears underwriting conditions, and facilitates loans through final approval.Provides timely and accurate communication to members, real estate professionals, title companies, and other relevant parties regarding loan status, documentation requirements, and processing milestones.Performs post-closing activities, including processing payoffs, recording documents, preparing files for audit review, and resolving audit findings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of mortgage loan records.Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements: Produces accurate, complete, and compliant mortgage loan documentation, files, and reports while meetingestablished deadlines and service expectations for loan processing, underwriting support, and closingactivities.Provides responsive and accurate support to members and staff, ensuring inquiries are addressed andresolved in a timely, professional manner.Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Credit Union loan products, policies, procedures, standards, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
Maintain the Credit Unions professional reputation with members, realtors, title companies, and other outside contacts.
