SUMMARY We are offering a unique live-in, overnight on-call position at the Mount View Hotel & Spa, a 34-room boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Calistoga.

In exchange for rent-free lodging, the resident employee will serve as the overnight emergency point of contact for in-house guests from 11:00 p.m.

to 7:00 a.m.

The resident employee will live on property in a small private room and must be available to respond promptly when contacted regarding an overnight emergency or urgent guest need.

This is not a traditional hourly overnight position.

You are not required to remain awake during these hours, but you must be available and able to respond when contacted about an emergency or other urgent situation.

You will be paid for the actual time worked responding to guests and handling overnight emergencies or other work-related issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In the rare event that a guest arrives after 11:00 p.m., welcome the guest, verify identification, and provide their welcome packet and room key.

Answer emergency or urgent phone calls from in-house guests.

Respond to urgent guest requests, such as delivering extra linens or refreshments when needed.

When necessary, monitor the pool and spa after hours to ensure guests are following property rules and safety requirements.

Promptly communicate and document any overnight emergencies or work performed.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS Single occupants only.

Guestroom and property are non-smoking.

No pets permitted.

Resident employee must live on property and maintain the availability necessary to respond to overnight emergencies.

WHEN WE NEED YOU The resident employee must be available between 11:00 p.m.

and 7:00 a.m.

in the event of: A late guest arrival after 11:00 p.m.

An emergency or urgent guest situation.

Another situation requiring overnight assistance.

You are not required to remain awake during these hours unless responding to a guest need or performing work.

COMPENSATION The resident employee will receive a private room in exchange for overnight on-call emergency coverage.

The room includes: Bed Spacious bathroom Smart TV Mini refrigerator Microwave Rent, utilities, and internet are provided at no cost.

The resident employee will also be paid for the actual time worked while responding to guests, handling emergencies, or performing other work-related duties.
