Sr Analyst - Business Analysis

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of a variety of reports, internal/external resource documents, and surveys.

- Publish results for utilization by internal and external clients, as appropriate.

- Work with relational database management systems (MS SQL Server) and analytical processing systems.

- Ensure data accuracy and validate all data collection methods used in reporting projects.

- Evaluate data quality, applications and functions, produce output, maintain reporting operations, and documentation.

- Research new data sources and analytical tools.

- Contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.

- Develop and maintain effective processes for managing requirements, developing business processes, and providing production support to the operation.

- Communicate status, risks, and issues to senior management and/or the client as appropriate.

- Analyze existing systems, programs, policies and organizational processes and recommend enhancements and improved solutions.

- Manage efficient execution of business meetings with internal project staff, clients and/or project vendors.

- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

- Document best practices and continuously measure outcomes for desired results.

- Work effectively with internal and external business partners in the delivery of solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver results after thorough research of functional needs by collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders, both internal and external to the company.
- Apply strong analytical reasoning to understand end user's requirements and transform them into operational application.
- Work closely with operations and development staff to define business requirements,
system requirements, test criteria, and success factors.
- Develop business requirements that fully address stakeholder needs and translate those into system requirements that result in system development that aligns with them.

Facilitates reviews and approvals of the requirements before initiation of development to ensure agreement and understanding of needed changes.
- Develops functional test cases and executes them to validate that the system changes meet expected outcomes defined in business requirements.

Works closely with developers and QA analysts to resolve questions or defects found during testing
- Acquire deep knowledge of working systems and bring forward efficient and effective changes for better performance.
- Develop documentation and work products supporting decisions, requirements, system functionality and processes.
- Participate in the administration of project and program contract activities.
- Extract, analyze, and report data to support program activity and assist in management decision making.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
