Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team on a Full-Time basis at $18.54 per hour.

The Janitor will help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities


* Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other facility spaces.


* Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas.


* Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces.


* Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.


* Properly handle and dispose of trash and waste.


* Replenish cleaning and sanitation supplies as needed.


* Follow facility infection-control and safety procedures.


* Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.


* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner.


* Assist with maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.


* Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.


* Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.


* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.


* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.


* Ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures.


* Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with cleaning, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.


* Professional and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and staff.
