Flow Line Member - Direct

Performs a wide range and variety of assembly, material handling, and quality inspection tasks:


* Lifting, bending, turning, stooping, climbing, stretching above shoulder level, kneeling, pushing, pulling, squatting, standing, sitting, and walking daily.


* Move components and subassemblies to assign workspaces for processing by production employees and delete them as instructed.


* Must be able to lift and maneuver, within a range of zero to five feet vertically and twenty-five steps horizontally, a load of up to thirty-five pounds.


* Must be able to walk up to five miles in an eight-hour shift.


* You must be able to see one-eighth of an inch parts and nonconformities at a distance of two feet.


* Must be able to tighten screws, using a torque screwdriver, to twenty inches/pounds.


* You should be able to spot subtle differences in color and texture.


* You must be able to keep orderly and accurate inspection records.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
1.

Assemble parts repeatedly and quickly.
2.

Visually inspect parts and assemblies.
3.

Lift from ounces to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the work shift.
4.

Ability to be trained two (2) or more assembly operations during a work shift.
5.

Use pneumatic hand tools and hand tools.
6.

Work overtime as scheduled.
7.

Use hand trucks, floor lifts, and other material handling devices.
8.

Use of measurement tools.

Keep records as directed.
