Koch Ag & Energy Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate high-quality software solutions that deliver business value.

In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative engineering team responsible for developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems using modern development practices.

You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle-from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing support-while partnering closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders.

What You Will Do



* Contribute to software development efforts across the full project lifecycle.


* Partner with the Tower Technical Lead and BSAs to prioritize backlog items from a technical perspective.


* Support and maintain existing applications by troubleshooting and resolving production issues


* Design APIs, services, and data integrations that are scalable, secure, and performant


* Identify transformation opportunities that leverage AI, automation, and cloud-native platforms to deliver business value


* Continuously learn and apply new technologies, patterns, and practices

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Demonstrated professional experience in software engineering, software development, or a related technical field


* Experience with Python programming language


* Legally Authorized to work in the United States


* Experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications using AWS serverless services (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)


* Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

What Will Put You Ahead



* Experience in Market Data, Commodity/Financial Trading, or related industries.


* Experience developing generative AI or agentic services using the AWS AgentCore runtime.



* Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and other modern development tools.



* Experience using generative AI tools such as Copilot or Claude Code in software development and solution delivery.
