As an Estimator Coordinator at Locke Solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting our estimating team by coordinating and facilitating the bid preparation process for construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include gathering project information, conducting quantity take-offs, soliciting quotes from subcontractors and vendors, and preparing bid documents.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Manage, update, and coordinate new bid assignments; establish bid due dates by communicating with Sales, Estimating Manager, Customers, or Bid Services within 24 hours.Develop and maintain a high-level technical understanding of bid reviews, including scope criteria and project requirements, to effectively brief Estimators.Verify and obtain minimum design criteria and pre-bid documents from Customers/Sales in advance to support on-time quote delivery.Coordinate with the Estimating Manager and Sales Manager to establish scope criteria and sales strategy.Manage and maintain the approved Sub-Supplier list and Locke Solutions CRM system.Gain and apply product knowledge and understanding of application processes.Assist in preparing quote estimates (up to $500K) for review and approval.Support bid package preparation; manage and collect quotes from vendors and suppliers as required.Act as liaison between Sales/Customers and the Estimating Team to provide timely bid status updates.Process and manage small orders, standard products, and modified standard products that do not require Project Management or Engineering support.
