Lead ICAM Architect

Leads Deloitte's architecture strategy and technical direction for the VA's identity, credential, and access management environment.

This role aligns identity services, integrations, security controls, and modernization efforts with Zero Trust objectives and operational requirements.

The Lead ICAM Architect works across stakeholders to define scalable target-state architecture, strengthen governance, and support secure access across enterprise platforms.

Work you'll do

As a Lead ICAM Architect on the ICAM team, you will be responsible for...


* Leading architecture strategy for enterprise identity, credential, and access management capabilities in support of VA mission and security objectives


* Defining target-state ICAM architecture, integration patterns, and technical standards across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments


* Guiding modernization initiatives that align identity services and access controls with Zero Trust principles and federal security requirements


* Partnering with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and program stakeholders to evaluate requirements, resolve architectural issues, and support implementation decisions


* Overseeing architectural governance, technical roadmaps, and solution reviews to improve scalability, interoperability, and operational performance

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree


* 10+ years of experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity architecture, or enterprise architecture


* 5+ years of experience designing or leading identity and access management solutions in complex enterprise environments


* Experience with identity federation, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, and directory services
