Job Summary
Under the general direction of the department head or designee, performs a variety of coordinated administrative tasks to provide logistic support to office, business or operations by exercising advanced skills, selecting appropriate combination of methods from a wide variety of procedures, making simple adaptations and interpretations of a limited number of substantive guides and manuals, working closely with supervisors to formulate effective and efficient responses to minor problems.
Responds to requests for information, prepares and reviews incoming and outgoing materials/correspondence for consistency with departmental procedures.
May act in the capacity of a resource person by demonstrating proficiency in the proper use of office equipment and execution of new work methods and procedures.
Performs data entry into various applications including Oracle EBS.
Assumes responsibility for following-up in an effective manner on unresolved business within the purview of their assigned duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate is required.
• Two (2) years of full-time work experience performing administrative and/or clerical job duties is required.
• Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds is required.

*Degrees awarded outside of the United States with the exception of those awarded in one of the United States territories and Canada, must be credentialed by the World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES) member organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software.
Good attention to multifarious detail, ability to reproduce and cross reference data.
• Ability to follow-up in a thorough and timely manner relative to unresolved business.
• Knowledge of business, legal and/or other technical language usage, punctuation, and grammar for application to business forms, letters, records and reports.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to edit correspondence, documents, contracts or related material.
• Knowledge utilizing and applying basic mathematical skills and performs calculations relative to the tabulation of bids and/or other procurement documents ...
