Brad Foote Gearing, a division of Broadwind, is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is a 1st shift position, with overtime as necessary.

Come join our team! Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Speed Reducer Assembler to join our team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for tearing down, repairing, and rebuilding speed reducers to meet exact customer specifications.

Operating under the guidance of the Lead Assembler, you will play a crucial part in the success of our team.

Will provide their own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Build subassemblies using the cranes, press, and ovenResponsible for assembling and matching various types of gearingCheck the Route Sheet and blueprints for the operations and instructionsClean parts at the wash tankAssemble bearings with proper preload or end playFabricate lube systems using hard pipe, tubing and hosesRun test enclosed drives using related measuring equipmentPaint enclosed drives to customer specificationsMaintain department equipment in good working orderSafe operation of various types of fork liftsRecord required data on the proper forms as needed during the assembly process All other duties as assigned
