Job Summary This is a hands-on opportunity to develop practical skills in financial operations, gain exposure to budget preparation and internal documentation processes, and support key initiatives that contribute to our year-end readiness.

Key Responsibilities Budget & Financial Support Assist in preparing and organizing schedules for the annual budget cycle.

Help compile financial data and templates for use by department budget owners.

Support the Controller and accounting team with mid-cycle updates and variance tracking.

Documentation & Controls Document accounting processes, checklists, and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness.

Assist in updating process maps and SOPs to align with current practices.

Maintain a central repository of policies and templates.

File & Data Management Support the carry-forward of file structures and reference materials for year-end close and planning.

Perform data clean-up and naming convention standardization in financial files.

Help reconcile versioning of key documents between departments.

Team Collaboration Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas for improving process clarity and structure.

Collaborate with peers and mentors on ad hoc projects supporting finance and accounting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Junior/Senior standing preferred).

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and file organization best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a team environment.
