Georgia- Pacific's Kansas City, Missouri, facility is now hiring a third- shift Corrugator Supervisor to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to join our third- shift team (Monday - Friday , 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.).

What You Will Do


* Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability; proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigation strategies; investigate incidents and participate in identifying and resolving root causes


* Provide leadership on the operating floor and promote compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements


* Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, production, technical skills, and interpersonal communication


* Ensure best practices are followed to minimize waste at machine centers


* Address key issues and concerns and collaborate with employees from other departments to ensure high-quality, on-time production


* Identify repairs needed at machine centers and create work requests for completion


* Identify continuous improvement opportunities when performance issues are apparent and provide leadership and action plans to close gaps


* Plan, assign, and direct work for all hourly production employees; evaluate performance and provide feedback as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
