About the role:
At Vantage, the AVP, Director of Legal Operations will play a critical role in driving the efficiency, organization, and scalability of our Legal function.
Reporting to the General Counsel, this position is responsible for managing legal operations, knowledge management, vendor and law firm administration, budgeting and reporting processes, legal technology platforms, and department-wide project management initiatives.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in our New York City office and is ideal for a proactive, resourceful professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys building scalable solutions from the ground up.
The base salary expectation for this role is between $150,000 and $185,000.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
* Maintain a strategic knowledge management plan for the Legal department.
This includes processes, procedures, and best practices for storage of electronic documents and contracts as well as establishing a knowledge repository of templates, forms, counseling logs, guidance materials and checklists, presentations and other knowledge assets and other work product.
* Implement and maintain processes, procedures and best practices related to law firm and other third-party management, including with respect to billing.
+ Assist with preparation and monitoring of annual legal and compliance budget, financial planning and reporting, and legal bill processing.
This includes interfacing with Finance for budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
+ Assist with implementation of an e-billing system.
