Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities & Duties Responsible for completing predictive & preventative maintenance programs for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical systems.

Responsible for complete installation of new equipment.Satisfy all other job responsibilities of Maintenance Workers (see job description for Maintenance A, B & C).Work independently or with a group to complete maintenance tasks.Complete work using fundamental mechanical & electrical principles.Document work orders & maintain spare parts inventory.Troubleshoot & resolve problems independently.Communicate to all departments within the organization.Work in a safe manner, following all relevant safety policies & procedures.Perform jobs requested by Maintenance Manager.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements High School diploma.Journeymans card or Associates degree in Maintenance Technology or similar field preferred.Minimum 3 years experience as a Machine Repair Tech, Millwright or Electrical Tech.Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems and electrical circuits.Experience leading others.Strong attention to detail and able to keep accurate records.Able to effectively communicate with others and be able to read and write.Able to perform basic math calculations.
