In Home Caregiver - Part-time

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Independent Living Services (ILS) at Vista Care, you will empower individuals to live independently, achieve their personal goals, and thrive in their communities.

Key Responsibilities Daily Living Support (ADLs & IADLs): Assist individuals with meal preparation, personal care, home cleanliness, money management, shopping, and community integration.

Advocacy & Empowerment: Act as a dedicated advocate, ensuring individuals served are treated with dignity, respect, and independence at all times.

Documentation & Reporting: Accurately complete charting, logs, and support plan documentation in a timely manner while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

Behavior & Health Support: Implement behavior management strategies according to support plans, perform medically oriented tasks as trained, and remain alert to health/behavior changes.

Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required to transport individuals).

Successful completion of a background check in compliance with regulations.

Ability to complete state-required certifications and training within 90 days of hire.
