Senior Consultant, Tax Strategy - Tax Transformation

The Tax Transformation Office serves Deloitte Tax, focused on Service Delivery Transformation inclusive of people, process, and technology in order for our Tax Professionals to deliver efficient, high value, quality tax services to our clients.

Tax Transformation drives improvements across the full range of Tax market offerings focused on both Tax compliance and advisory services.

Work you'll do

As a Tax Strategy and Transformation Senior Consultant , you will collaborate with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders.

Tax transformation projects span Business Threads, inclusive of tax compliance and advisory client service delivery for Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flowthroughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, and Indirect Tax services, as well as cross-thread activities such as initiating, managing and closing engagements.

The role requires working knowledge of professional services and the end-to-end engagement life cycle.

Responsibilities include:


* Support project planning (workplans, milestones) and deliver assigned scope on time against defined outcomes


* Partner with Tax practitioners to identify service delivery pain points, size opportunities, and drive process improvements


* Perform process analysis/modeling using agile and design thinking; translate business needs into clear functional requirements


* Collaborate across the technology delivery lifecycle, including coordination with product/IT and stakeholders


* Execute and facilitate testing (system/UAT) and contribute to business readiness assessments


* Develop and deliver learning materials; support deployment planning, pilots, and go-live execution


* Provide post-go-live hypercare, support adoption with change management, gather feedback and drive action plans, and assist with legacy system decommissioning
