Animal Services Officer

Main duties and responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned.) Perform field work as a deputized Animal Services Officer.Thoroughly understand and effectively apply the animal control code of ordinances.Apprehend and impound unlicensed, stray and uncontrolled animals.Investigate complaints with respect to neglect of and cruelty to animals.Correctly and humanely performs euthanasia procedures.Prepare manual and computerized reports and documents in a neat, timely and accurate manner.

Accurately input data into database system.
