Key Responsibilities


* Oversee daily operations at marine construction sites, managing crews, equipment, and subcontractors


* Lead morning safety meetings, job hazard analysis, and enforce all safety standards and regulations


* Coordinate construction schedules, equipment mobilization, and material logistics


* Supervise tasks such as pile driving, dredging, cofferdam and concrete work, and marine lifts


* Ensure all work complies with technical specifications, environmental permits, and project quality requirements


* Serve as the field liaison with Project Managers, Engineers, and Quality Control staff


* Monitor and maintain marine assets including barges, cranes, and tugs


* Keep precise records including daily logs, reports, and production metrics


* Troubleshoot site challenges and prevent delays or risks with proactive solutions


* Train, mentor, and manage crew performance while upholding high standards of work ethic

Qualifications


* 8+ years of heavy civil or marine construction experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role


* In-depth knowledge of marine construction practices, equipment, and compliance requirements


* Proficient in reading and implementing construction drawings and marine project plans


* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities


* Capable of managing multiple crews and coordinating subcontractors


* OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred


* Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather...
