About the role:
At Alcoa, you'll join a global legal team that plays a critical role in supporting a business with operations across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
We're seeking a talented attorney to help manage Alcoa's U.S.
litigation portfolio while supporting complex legal matters across multiple international jurisdictions.
This role offers direct exposure to senior business leaders, high-profile disputes, strategic business initiatives, and cross-border legal issues, making it an exceptional opportunity for attorneys looking to expand their expertise and build a long-term career within a global organization.

* Manage a diverse U.S.
litigation portfolio, including commercial, employment, environmental, regulatory, safety-related, and other business disputes.
* Partner with business leaders to assess risk, develop litigation strategies, and support effective dispute resolution.
* Oversee outside counsel, including case strategy, budgeting, staffing, performance management, and claims handling.
* Lead litigation support activities, including investigations, discovery, legal holds, document preservation, and witness preparation.
* Prepare business-focused updates for senior legal and executive leadership while supporting litigation reserves, insurance matters, and risk reporting.
* Collaborate with legal teams and outside counsel globally to coordinate reporting, improve processes, and support strategic business initiatives, investigations, and emerging legal risks.
What you can bring to the role:
* J.D.
from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S.
jurisdiction.
* Approximately 4-7 years of litigation experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or a combination of both.
