Pay Range:$76,000 - $106,000 average annual (Dependent on Experience)Performance Pay: 90-Day and regular annual reviews - merit pay increases based on performance.Food Perks: Monthly employee appreciation lunches.Extras: Employee discounts and company apparel.

Represents the company as an ambassador of customer service and excellence.

Engages third party assistance with delivery unloading when necessary.

Manages licensing, medical certifications, hours of service and mandatory DOT regulations.

Essential Position Functions: Trained to drive a Semi TractorPull Trailers in a safe mannerAbide by roadway speed limits and lawsPerform Pre-trip inspectionsAdhere to hours of service rulesMonitor refrigerated trailer and load temperaturesMaintain all trip and load documentsDeliver and pick up product in a timely mannerProfessional behavior and clean attire when representing AlpineKeep tractor clean, sweep out trailersManage licensing, medical certifications and DOT regulationsConstant communication with Transportation SupervisorTimely submittals of required documentation such as Driver Sheets, Load info, etc.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to drive in inclement weatherStrong safety skills and awareness while drivingForklift experienceAble to lift up to 50 poundsProfessional Customer Service Skills Education & Experience: A Class A CDL with acceptable MVR and PSPMinimum of 1 year of recent verifiable driving experienceSuccessful passage of Road TestDOT Medical Card / CertificationSuccessful passage of DOT pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, medical examination and criminal background check.
