General Manager - Supply Chain PerformanceRole Purpose
The General Manager - Supply Chain Performance is responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across a regional or multi-country supply chain network.
The role focuses on deploying Schneider Performance System (SPS) methodologies, optimizing end-to-end supply chain performance, coaching local teams, and leveraging digital solutions to deliver sustainable business results.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the deployment, governance, and sustainability of the Schneider Performance System (SPS) across multiple sites and entities.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, Kaizen, Lean Office, and operational excellence methodologies.
* Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to improve productivity, lead time, inventory, logistics efficiency, equipment utilization, and workforce performance.
* Develop and execute performance improvement roadmaps in partnership with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain leadership teams.
* Support sites in achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People development objectives.
* Participate in strategic investment decisions related to capacity expansion, automation, new product introductions, and process transformation.
* Facilitate collaboration across Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Engineering, Procurement, and Leadership teams to drive business outcomes.
* Coach and develop teams on Lean principles, process design, ergonomics, capacity planning, simulation tools, and continuous improvement practices.
* Lead value stream mapping exercises and operational diagnostics to identify improvement opportunities and eliminate waste.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and performance excellence.
Digital & Systems Leadership
* Champion adoption of digital manufacturing and supply chain solutions across the organization.
* Leverage enterprise platforms such as ERP, LDS/PMS, DISS, CMMS, and analytics tools to drive operational effectiveness.
* Ensure data integrity, governance, and analytics-driven decision-making.
* Identify, promote, and deploy innovative digital solutions to enhance supply chain performance and operational visibility.
* Drive standardization and best-practice sharing across locations.
