Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

You will collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, individualized care.
Key Responsibilities


* Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders


* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed


* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


* Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the care team


* Participate in care planning and discharge planning


* Provide education and training to staff and caregivers as needed

Qualifications


* Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Master's or higher preferred)


* Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills


* Commitment to patient-centered care
