Deputy Outpatient Services Director
Primary Purpose: The Deputy Outpatient Services Director is responsible for understanding and being able to oversee the day-to-day operations of Outpatient Services in all locations.
This position is responsible for understanding all facets of and contributing to the success of all Outpatient Services programs in support of the Outpatient Services Director, as well as being able to serve as back-up in their absence.
Education and Experience: Must be licensed in a clinical field (LCSW/LPC/LMFT, etc.) and have three years post-licensure experience in direct mental health service delivery including clinical, training, and supervisory responsibilities.
Additionally, two years clinical supervisory experience is preferred.
Must demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment, including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, substance abuse, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts, assessing family, cultural, social and work relationships, conducting a mental status examination, complete a DSM diagnosis, write and supervise the implementation of a Service Plan, and provide individual, family or group therapy within the scope of their training.
Must demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive training on topics within their scope and practice to agency staff as well as community partners when appropriate and assigned.
Must demonstrate competence with public speaking, community outreach efforts, and networking to promote program-specific and agency-wide initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications: Provide proof of current, valid Oregon Drivers License (or if out-of-state will obtain Oregon license within 30 days), comprehensive automobile insurance (if applicable) and a safe driving record (minimum of 3 yrs.) to use company or personal vehicle for required duties.Successfully pass a Criminal Background Check and Medicaid Fraud Check.Obtain and maintain current certification in the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment.Obtain and maintain current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification and demonstrate proficiency in Certification procedures.Obtain and maintain Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) trainer certification and demonstrate proficiency in Certification procedures.Obtain and maintain Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) trainer certification.Obtain and maintain current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Core Competencies: Clinical Provide direct one-to-one clinical and administrative supervisionusing Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) case review approach, per agency provided training, as assigned.Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities for Treatment Foster Care (TFC), as assigned.Conduct annual administrative performance appraisals for direct supervisees.Attend to job performance of all program staff and provide observations and coaching to leadership team members.Guide, assist, ...
