The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Part-Time PM Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys afternoon and evening nursing, values teamwork, and is confident making sound clinical decisions while providing leadership and support to nursing staff.

During the PM shift, you'll play an important role in ensuring our residents receive safe, compassionate, high-quality care.

You'll help lead the nursing team, monitor resident conditions, oversee medications and treatments, support admissions and family communication, and help ensure a smooth transition into the overnight shift.

Position Overview

The RN is responsible for supervising and coordinating nursing activities during the assigned PM shift in accordance with applicable regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.

The RN provides direct resident care as needed while serving as a clinical resource and leader for the nursing team.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, organization, communication, and a genuine commitment to resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities
PM Shift Leadership


* Supervise the nursing team and coordinate resident care throughout the PM shift.


* Help ensure appropriate staffing and assignments for RNs/LVNs and CNAs.


* Provide guidance, support, and direction to nursing staff.


* Make sound independent clinical decisions and respond appropriately to changing resident conditions.


* Conduct rounds and monitor residents' physical, emotional, and clinical status.


* Maintain a calm, respectful, and positive environment throughout the shift.


* Communicate important resident and staffing information to the Director of Nursing and incoming shift.


* Help ensure a smooth and thorough transition to the NOC shift.
