Summary:

The CapEx Safety Manager creates and oversees the safety documentation and safety organization for all Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects.

This position works with contractor safety organizations to ensure they operate under strict safety regulations and protocols, ensuring all CapEx projects are delivered safely.

The Safety Manager collects and shares safety alerts across the company organization and develops comprehensive monthly safety reports.

All procedures and documentation are maintained in accordance with MSHA/OSHA requirements and CRH Life-Saving Rules.

What you'll be contributing:



* Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.


* Reviews existing Company and CRH Group safety policies, procedures, and documentation for assigned projects to ensure they are up to date and consistent with regulatory requirements.


* Reviews contract safety requirements for suppliers and contractors to ensure they are consistent with the scope of work and company/CRH Group policies.


* Collaborates with the procurement department during bid alignment to ensure bidder safety specifications are in line with contract safety requirements; interviews contractors and suppliers to verify their safety awareness, policy alignment with contract safety requirements; interviews contractors and suppliers to verify that their safety awareness, policies, culture, and statistics align with company and CRH Group expectations.
