Data Analytics Analyst 1

Position Overview The Data Analytics Analyst 1 will serve in a key support role within the Operations Data Analytics Department.

This position is responsible for supporting the onboarding of new generation assets and updating existing assets within enterprise systems for current and future construction projects, acquisitions, modernization initiatives, and large-scale retrofit projects.

Generation assets may include: Solar generation Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Combined Cycle (CC) units Combustion Turbine (CT) units Hydroelectric modernization projects Environmental retrofit projects Other generation assets and capital projects The successful candidate will participate in project teams, gather and analyze equipment-related data, verify information with subject matter experts, and ensure accurate asset information is incorporated into Southern Company's work management systems.

This role combines data analytics, technical data management, field verification, business process support, and asset management generation.
