Engineer 1

Position Overview The Engineer 1 will support Southern Company Gas's Design organization with engineering activities related to natural gas distribution infrastructure.

The position will assist with the planning and design of gas facilities, mechanical equipment, pipeline components, gas storage or fueling station assignments, system analysis, and construction activities.

This role requires an engineer who is a self-starter, strong communicator, critical thinker, collaborative team member, and sound decision-maker.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working across a matrix organization and collaborating with engineering, construction, operations, project management, and other internal and external stakeholders.
