GIS Tech 2

Position Overview The GIS Technician 2 will perform routine and intermediate GIS activities involving spatial data creation, editing, visualization, quality control, mapping, application support, and database maintenance.

The successful candidate will assist Business Support with maintaining and enhancing a GIS-based Work Management platform and will work closely with Foresters, Specialists, managers, GIS Analysts, and other business stakeholders.

In addition to traditional GIS responsibilities, this position requires experience with web-based GIS applications and GIS automation, including Python scripts and Python Notebooks.
