Job Title: Lifeguard Location: Kenwood Country Club Position Type: Seasonal Reports To: Pool Manager Job Summary: Established in 1930, Kenwood Country Club is the premier family club in the Cincinnati area and one of the top Clubs in the Midwest.

The club offers tremendous facilities including two championship, 18-hole golf courses, tennis, paddle tennis, state-of-the-art fitness center, an expansive pool and pavilion area, and a sophistically renovated clubhouse.

The club has a total of 925 members and remains on a waitlist of approximately two years for social membership and five years for golf membership.

The pool complex at Kenwood Country Club is open 7 days a week.

We are looking for responsible individuals with lifeguarding experience to keep the complex clean and safe.

Job Description: Actively monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.

Delivery excellent member service while enforcing club rules and safety policies.

Maintain constant surveillance of swimmers in the pool and surrounding deck areas.

Perform water rescues, administer first aid, CPR, and use an AED when necessary.

Enforce all pool rules and safety regulations in a professional and courteous manner.

Conduct routine safety inspections of the pool area, equipment, and facilities.

Assist with opening and closing duties including setting up chairs, umbrellas, towels, and pool equipment.

Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, restrooms, and surrounding areas.

Assist with swim test, pool activities, and special club events when needed.

Qualifications: Current Lifeguard Certification from the American Red Cross or equivalent.

Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.

Strong swimming ability and physical fitness required for rescue situations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
