Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Full-Time Activities Assistant to join our vibrant life enrichment team.

In this role, you will help plan, organize, and lead daily activities that bring joy, engagement, and a sense of community to our residents.

Key Responsibilities



* Lead group activities including arts and crafts, music, games, and discussion groups.


* Conduct one-on-one visits with residents who cannot attend group events.


* Assist in planning monthly activity calendars and decorating the facility for holidays.


* Set up activity rooms and transport residents safely to and from events.


* Document resident participation and progress according to regulatory guidelines.


* Encourage and motivate residents to maintain their hobbies and social connections.

Qualifications



* High school diploma or equivalent required.


* Previous experience in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred.


* Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.


* Outgoing personality with a passion for serving the elderly population.


* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.


* Flexibility to work occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
