East Bay Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Weekend Activities Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with seniors, creating meaningful experiences, and making a positive impact every weekend.

Responsibilities


* Assist in planning and leading engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities.


* Encourage resident participation in group and one-on-one activities.


* Set up and clean up activity areas and supplies.


* Escort residents to and from activities as needed.


* Document resident attendance and participation.


* Support holiday celebrations, special events, and weekend entertainment.


* Work closely with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team to meet residents' individual interests and needs.

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


* Experience working with seniors or in healthcare, recreation, or customer service is a plus.


* Friendly, dependable, patient, and compassionate.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Must be able to stand, walk, lift activity supplies, and assist residents as needed.
