GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the general direction of an Airfield Supervisor, the Airfield Technician I performs technical work related to the operations and duties of leading and assigning tasks in safety, maintenance, and security within the airport environment.

This role involves various tasks, including the maintenance of airfield paint markings, pavement condition indexing, and field conditioning, as well as ensuring security requirements are met.

The Airfield Technician I performs daily grounds cleanup, manages trash and debris removal (Excluding Hazardous Materials, conducts pavement inspections, and conducts repairs on asphalt, concrete, and fencing.

This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of our 24/7 operations.

Requires availability for emergency call-in.
