Mechanic - 2nd Shift

The Mechanic I works at the Henry, TN facility and is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and other machinery.

This position helps ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and operating efficiently to support daily operations.

This position follows a second-shift schedule from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, with a rotating schedule of Saturday through Tuesday one week and Sunday through Wednesday the following week.Rate of pay starts at $15.30 + $1 night shift differential.

Subject to change based on experience.

Essential Job Functions The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and other company equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, tire replacement, and other scheduled maintenance.

Inspect equipment and report major repairs or damage to the supervisor.

Operate company vehicles and equipment safely.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Promote and support the company's safety culture.

Work independently and with team members.

Complete other duties as assigned.
