Work you'll do/Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant - Software Engineer, you will design, build, and support backend API solutions that improve the performance and reliability of specialist referral workflows for the client.

You'll work closely with product, business, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable services, integrate systems effectively, and ensure high-quality API performance across the application landscape.


* Design and develop new backend API functionality to enhance specialist referral performance and user experience


* Build and maintain Java-based services with a focus on scalability, reliability, and clean service architecture


* Integrate APIs and backend services across internal and external systems


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions


* Write and execute API tests to validate functionality, performance, and stability


* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing services and integrations


* Support code reviews, deployment activities, and production issue resolution as needed



* Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management


* Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes
