Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

This role plays a key part in helping residents improve mobility, strength, and overall independence.
Key Responsibilities


* Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist


* Follow physician treatment plans and care goals


* Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes accurately


* Assist with rehabilitation and care planning meetings


* Communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary team


* Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education


* Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment


* Support training of restorative aides and nursing staff


* Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies

Qualifications


* Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in South Carolina (in good standing)


* Graduate of an accredited PTA program


* Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred


* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


* Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
